Announcing the “Name the PAAS Mentor Program Contest”!

Contest! Please Encourage Your Mt. Hebron Student to Enter!

The Parent’s of African American Students (PAAS) Mentoring Program is looking for a New Name! We are giving away a $100 American Express Gift Card to the winning entry! If you have a suggestion for a new name for the PAAS Mentoring Program, send your ideas to, or bring them to the next PAAS Mentoring Meeting on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Please include your name, grade, and contact phone number.

The $100 American Express Gift Card will be awarded to the winner at the November 13th meeting!

The Oct. 30th meeting will take place at CrossRoads Church of The Nazarene, 2750 Rogers Ave, Ellicott City, MD 21043 from 10:00AM-12:00 Noon in room 122.  The deadline for turning in your entry for the “Name the PAAS Mentoring Program Contest” is November 11, 2010.  (Please note:  You must be a student in order to win the prize.)

Our goal is to close the academic achievement gap and to push our students to ensure that they are maximizing their educational opportunity. Each year we sponsor events and programs to help support and encourage our students and the greater Mt. Hebron community. We want to ensure that we graduate confident, academically strong future leaders and contributers to society.

    We are reviewing and giving the $100.00 away on Saturday, December 13th at 10:00 to noon at Crossroads Church. Send in a name to get in the game. We have a speaker from ” T. Rowe Price – the market will go back up” Be there.
